    The information below should answer any questions you might have about booking live music for your wedding, function or event. However if there is something else you need to know that isn't mentioned here, don't hesitate to drop us a line using our contact form and we'll happily answer any other questions you have.

    Where will you travel to?

    The band are based in London and are available to gig practically anywhere in the UK. This includes Essex, Home Counties, Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Greater Manchester, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. We have been known to travel further afield as well so please get in touch regardless of where your wedding/function/event is are based.

    How long will you play for? What time will the band start?

    We can tailor our set times based on your needs, but a standard package is 3 x 40 minute sets. This will give you a great amount of live entertainment for your event. Generally we would aim to start playing at around 9pm, and space out the sets to finish before midnight - but again this is just a guideline and we can adjust to your specific needs for your particular event.

    What time do you arrive and finish?

    We have a standard package with a set fee where the band arrive at around 6pm. We are flexible but there may be an additional cost if we are required to arrive much earlier than 5.30pm. The band take approximately 1.5 hours to set up and test the equipment and sound check. The set fee includes ending by 12am at the latest. For later finishing times there will be an extra charge.

    Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

    Yes we are fully covered with public liability insurance and can provide proof of this. We also have all our electrical equipment PAT tested and certified.

    Can we choose a song for our wedding reception first dance for the band to learn?

    Yes - Within reason! We are able to play pretty much any song that resides in the genres of pop/rock/dance music. Obviously due to the restrictions of a 4 piece band we are not able to replicate a studio recording exactly (we are sadly still lacking a full string section and gospel choir...) but we would be able to create an authentic and personal interpretation that would mark the occasion perfectly.

    Will I need to provide a PA or special lighting?

    The band supply our own PA system. We also have adequate lighting to make the dancefloor feel as exciting as it should!

    Will I also need to hire a DJ?

    We are happy to offer a DJ style set up playing continuous music before and between our performances. Most clients do not find that they need a DJ in addition to the band.

    Do I need to provide the band with anything else at the event?

    Our only requests are:
    1) Access to soft drinks and water throughout the event
    2) A hot meal for each band member, if your event is catered. Including travel time to and from the venue the day can be around 10-12 hours long, so we need some fuel to keep us rockin' - a hungry band is not a happy band!
    3) Plug sockets: at least 2 x 13 amp power sockets.
    4) Stage area : At least 3x5 metres.
    5) Parking: Sufficient, secure parking to be made available - any car parking charges will be covered by the client.
